According to the CDB, the project will expand access, and improve quality and effectiveness, of post-secondary and tertiary education in Anguilla. This will lead to the enhancement of human resource capacity, contributing to the sustainable social and economic development of the country.
The information disclosed by the CDB is unclear. On project documents, it is stated that the CDB will provide a loan of USD 3.2 million and a grant of USD 0.09 million. The Government of Anguilla will contribute with USD 2.5 million.
However, on the project disclosure page, the approved total amount is USD 6,108,000.
As stated on the institution's website, the Community College Anguilla is the first indigenous, tertiary education institution on the island of Anguilla, which is the most northerly of the Leeward Islands in the Caribbean.
