Project Description

As stated on the project disclosure page, the ADB will provide a senior loan to Far East Horizon Limited (FEH) of up to $100,000,000 (or its yuan equivalent) with a tenor of up to 5 years, for the Far East Horizon Transition Finance Project in the People's Republic of China (PRC).

The project will help businesses overcome up-front cost barriers, reduce emissions, and contribute to long-term environmental and economic sustainability by easing access to and facilitating the deployment of green technologies, such as smart, flexible energy systems, cleaner production technologies, and high energy efficiency and resource efficiency solutions.

Financial Intermediary
A financial intermediary is a bank or financial institution that receives funds from a development bank. As stated by Bloomberg, Far East Horizon Ltd is a financial services provider. The Company specializes in providing financing solutions through equipment-based financial leasing. Far East currently targets industries that include healthcare, education, infrastructure construction, shipping, printing and machinery industries.
