According to the Bank’s website, the proposed cluster knowledge and support technical assistance (TA) is aligned with ADB's mandate to promote regional cooperation and integration (RCI) by strengthening the quality and impact of ADB's RCI knowledge products, particularly the Asian Economic Integration Report (AEIR) and RCI-related databases. The publications and databases can provide research and data support for ADB management's engagement in regional and global policy forums, inform external clients about progress in the policy, research, and development finance; and support ADB's knowledge and operational work on RCI.
According to the Technical Assistance Report, the Risk Categories are:
Environment: Not Applicable
Involuntary Resettlement: Not Applicable
Indigenous Peoples: Not Applicable
The TA cluster financing amount is $3,600,000, which will be financed on a grant basis by ADB’s Technical Assistance Special Fund (TASF 8 for $1,800,000 and TASF-other sources for $1,800,000).
