As stated by the ADB, the transaction involves a loan of up to $20,000,000 or its local currency equivalent to Private Joint-Stock Commercial Bank Davr Bank (Davr) for the Davr Supporting Inclusive Access to Finance for Micro, Small, and Medium-Sized Enterprises Project in Uzbekistan.
The project aligns with ADB's country partnership strategy (CPS) for Uzbekistan, 20242028, which prioritizes private sector and competitiveness development. It is expected to contribute to the related CPS outcome: public and private sector productivity boosted.
As stated by Devex, the PJSCB "DAVR-BANK" was founded and started its activity on September 29, 2001 in the city of Tashkent.
From the very first day, all the activities of the bank are aimed at deepening the process of market reforms, implementing priority directions for liberalizing the economy and accelerating economic reforms as defined by the Presidential Decree of March 21, 2000 "On Measures for Further Liberalization and Reforming the Banking System."

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF ADB

If you submit a complaint to the Accountability Mechanism, they may investigate to assess whether the Asian Development Bank is following its own policies and procedures for preventing harm to people or the environment.
