According to the Bank’s website, the Climate-Resilient Agriculture Facility Project will support the development of climate resilient and inclusive agriculture value chains to mitigate climate change risk, enhance agricultural productivity and food security, and reduce rural poverty. It will improve economies of scale, strengthen capacity, and scale up climate investments in the agriculture sector by transitioning smallholder farmers to agribusiness enterprises or groups and increasing access to finance. It is aligned with the following impact: climate-resilient and sustainable agricultural and rural development in Thailand achieved. It will have the following outcome: climate-resilient and inclusive agriculture value chain developed. The indicative amount of the regular ordinary capital resources loan of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for the ensuing project is $150 million.
