According to the Bank’s website, the technical assistance (TA) will support ADB's proposed transaction with BIDV by enhancing its capacity to lend to individual farmers, corporations, and small and medium-sized enterprises in sustainable agriculture, including those SMEs owned by women.
The TA will build BIDV’s capacity in sustainable financial services provision to this market segment, adequately manage inherent climate- and nature-related financial risks and opportunities, report in line with draft green finance taxonomy further aligning with the objectives of the Paris Agreement and the Global Biodiversity Framework.
According to the Technical Assistance Report, the Risk Categories are:

The TA financing amount is $500,000, which will be financed on a grant basis by the Financial Sector Development Partnership Special Fund (FSDPSF).
BIDV will contribute staff hours and other in-kind support and contribute own funding, as necessary to achieve the outputs. However, at this point, the TA does not anticipate cash contributions, cost recovery, transfer of funds, or other provisions.

It accepts various deposits products, such as bonds, current accounts, demand and fixed deposit accounts, promissory note/certificate of short term deposits, investment deposits, escrow accounts, long and short term valuable papers, securities trading deposits, demand deposits, and time deposits.
