As stated by the ADB, the objective of this project is to enhance the reliability, resiliency, and efficiency of electricity supply to meet the growing demand in rural areas and to promote the integration of renewable energy in the southern chattogram area in Bangladesh. The project will support enhancement of transmission network infrastructures including installation and augmentation of substations and transmission lines, implementing advanced technologies, and optimizing maintenance practices and solutions.
