According to the Bank's website, the project provides technical assistance to promote the development of distributed solar photovoltaic (PV) systems in Uzbekistan. The project will (i) support the development of government solar sector strategy, (ii) install a 20kW distributed solar PV system to demonstrate the technical feasibility and socioeconomic benefits of it; and (iii) improve institutional capacity through hands-on training in planning, designing, developing, implementing, and operating of the distributed solar PV system.
