Project Description
If provided by the financial institution, the Early Warning System Team writes a short summary describing the purported development objective of the project and project components. Review the complete project documentation for a detailed description.

According to the Bank’s website, the impact of the technical assistance (TA) cluster subproject is aligned with the overall impact of the TA cluster: resilient ecological protection and security in the Yellow River basin (YRB) achieved. The TA cluster subproject will have the following outcome: water resources and ecosystem management in the upper and middle YRB improved. The TA cluster subproject will have three outputs: (i) Output 1: Spatiotemporal database and data platform for the upper and middle Yellow River basin developed, (ii) Output 2: Integrated methodologies to regulate ecosystem developed, and (iii) Output 3: A case study conducted in a typical area.

Early Warning System Project Analysis
For a project with severe or irreversible impacts to local community and natural resources, the Early Warning System Team may conduct a thorough analysis regarding its potential impacts to human and environmental rights.

According to the Technical Assistance Cluster Subproject Report, risk categorization does not apply to this project.

The TA cluster subproject financing amount is $300,000 which will be financed on a grant basis by ADB’s TA Special Fund (TASF-other sources).
