Project Description
If provided by the financial institution, the Early Warning System Team writes a short summary describing the purported development objective of the project and project components. Review the complete project documentation for a detailed description.

According to the Bank’s website, the ongoing Chuuk Water Supply and Sanitation Project is improving the resilience, inclusiveness, and sustainability of water supply and sanitation services on Weno Island, the administrative and largest urban center of Chuuk State with a population of about 14,000 residing in 2,100 households. It will also help reduce the transmission of hygiene-related and waterborne diseases by increasing access to safe water and sanitation services.
