Project Description

According to the Bank's website, this project will support the government of Uzbekistan to prepare feasibility studies for irrigation and drainage subprojects. This project aims to modernise irrigation and drainage infrastructure throughout the country; to provide more reliable water systems for farms; and to improve water resource management. 

According to the Bank, these feasibility studies will conduct environmental and social impact assessments.
