As stated by the ADB, the program supports the Government of Georgia's efforts to improve the quality and relevance of, and access to, vocational education and training (VET) in Georgia. By tackling the remaining policy constraints and deepening the critical sector reforms initiated under the first subprogram, subprogram 2 will further strengthen and align the VET system with the needs of a growing economy. Prior actions in subprogram 2 served to (i) improve the quality and relevance of VET programs in Georgia's priority economic sectors, (ii) improve access to and inclusiveness of VET, and (iii) increase private sector participation in VET governance and delivery.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF ADB
The Accountability Mechanism is an independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who believe they are likely to be, or have been, adversely affected by an Asian Development Bank-financed project. If you submit a complaint to the Accountability Mechanism, they may investigate to assess whether the Asian Development Bank is following its own policies and procedures for preventing harm to people or the environment. You can learn more about the Accountability Mechanism and how to file a complaint at: http://www.adb.org/site/accountability-mechanism/main.
