According to the ADB, the project impact will consist in augmenting the availability, reliability and quality of fresh water resources to meet essential agricultural, energy, municipal and environmental needs.
The project outputs will be:
- The construction of a climate-resilient multipurpose dam;
- The development of a modernized irrigation system; and
- The enhancement of climate-smart agriculture productivity, and improvement of livelihoods.
