According to the bank, the proposed project aims at "improving tertiary CSE/IT education to meet industry demand through (i) increasing enrolment in public and private universities; (ii) improving the quality and relevance of education through international accreditation, (iii) promoting innovation through competitive grant funding mechanism partly targeting industry relevant research; and (iv) improving student career guidance and industry attachment."
