This project finances basic infrastructure improvements in the four northeastern provinces in Vietnam of Bac Kan, Cao Bang, Ha Giang, and Lang Son via four components: i) developing critical transport infrastructure; ii) improving rural water supply; iii) developing agricultural and rural value chains; and iv) strengthening institutional capacity for subregional investment planning and development management.
This project is financed by US$ 0.80 million of funding from ADB's Technical Assistance Special Fund and US$ 0.650 of supplementary funding from ADB's Technical Assistance Special Fund, as well as US$ 1.0 million secondary supplementary funding from ADB's Project Readiness Improvement Trust Fund.
