This project provides financing for the construction of a 100 MW photovoltaic power plant, its associated transmission lines, and an access road connecting the power plant with an existing paved road. Components also include piloting energy efficient technologies and on-grid rooftop photovoltaic solar systems for select rural health clinics, and institutional capacity building for Uzbekenergo and other stakeholders.
The project will require resettlement.
