This project funds the preparatory technical assistance for the necessary steps that must be taken before a future ADB-funded project aimed to increase the supply of and access to electricity and increase gas supply.
The funding for this project comes from the Technical Assistance Special Fund in the amount of US$ 1.5 million, with a supplementary US$ 400,000, also from the Technical Assistance Special Fund.

The Accountability Mechanism is an independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who believe they are likely to be, or have been, adversely affected by an Asian Development Bank-financed project. If you submit a complaint to the Accountability Mechanism, they may investigate to assess whether the Asian Development Bank is following its own policies and procedures for preventing harm to people or the environment.
