According to the ADB Technical Assistance Report, the Government of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Lao PDR) requested capacity development technical assistance from the ADB to strengthen the Ministry of Health (MOH) capacity to implement key components of the health sector reform strategy (HSRS), which aims to achieve universal health care by 2015. The impact of the TA will be the achievement of universal health coverage by 2025. The outcome will be strengthened government capacity to implement key components of the HSRS.
