This project finances an Investment Program to improve water supply and sanitation services in 6 secondary towns in Georgia. The Program includes improvements in infrastructure to rehabilitate, improve, and expand water supply and sanitation services, and in institutional effectiveness in service provision.
US$250 million is sourced from ordinary ADB capital resources.

The Accountability Mechanism is an independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who believe they are likely to be, or have been, adversely affected by an Asian Development Bank-financed project.
