According to the Bank’s website, to co-fund the 'Market Creation as a movement project' with the Growth Firms Alliance through a partnership development contribution. This project is focused on working together with a wide range of stakeholders (ranging from DFIs and philanthropic foundations to local market enabling organizations) to further define market creation and showcase its early successes. Final deliverable of this project will be a series of evidence-based thought leadership papers on market creation.
Market creation (MC) as a field of work and cohesion around what it means amongst the donors, DFIs and local market actors is still nascent. Knowledge sharing on what MC looks like in practice and demonstrating early results from MC creation activities will help to further grow the support for the Market Creation Platform among donors.
