Banco de Antigua es un banco en Guatemala. A YE2021, el banco tiene USD 195 millones en activos totales y una cartera de préstamos de USD 122 millones.

¿CUÁL ES EL OBJETIVO DE LA FINANCIACIÓN?

Los fondos se utilizarán para otorgar préstamos a microempresarios y pymes en zonas rurales de Guatemala.

¿POR QUÉ QUEREMOS FINANCIAR ESTE PROYECTO?

Brindar financiamiento a microempresarios y PYMES en áreas rurales de Guatemala contribuirá al enfoque de FMO y MASSIF de mejorar los medios de vida rurales.

FUNDAMENTO AMBIENTAL Y SOCIAL

El proyecto ha sido categorizado como E&S Categoría C, de acuerdo con la Política de Sostenibilidad de FMO. Se considera que las actividades del Proyecto tienen riesgos y/o impactos ambientales y sociales adversos mínimos o nulos. Como parte del Proyecto, el Banco de Antigua deberá aplicar la Lista de Exclusión de EDFI y las leyes y reglamentos ambientales y sociales de Guatemala.
