Project Description

As stated on the project disclosure page, the IFC will provide transaction advisory support to Government of Madhya Pradesh through the New & Renewable Energy Department (NRED) and Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Limited (RUMSL) to develop innovative renewable energy Public Private Partnerships (PPP)s, including a renewable energy park in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh.

The successful implementation of the Project is expected to result in clean power generation, avoidance of greenhouse gas emissions, and mobilization of private investment in the renewable energy sector.
