According to bank provided information, under the IFC Africa IPA Network initiative, this project provides targeted technical assistance to the Namibia Investment Promotion Development Board (NIPDB) to strengthen its capacity to originate, structure, and promote high-quality, bankable investment opportunities in the priority sectors. As part of a pilot program with eight African Investment Promotion Agencies (IPAs), the project will support NIPDB in assessing and upgrading its investment pipeline, identifying and packaging at least six viable projects for investor readiness, and engaging with development finance institutions and private investors through structured outreach. In parallel, the initiative will build institutional systems and technical skills of NIPDB through tailored training, practical toolkits, and peer-to-peer learning, enabling it to consistently generate and market investable projects that align with national priorities and attract financing.
