According to the Bank’s website, the goal of this project is to enhance the efficiency of the upstream and downstream supply chain of ETG in Tanzania and improve its input sales. This will be done by enhancing the in-house trainer capacity of ETG who will then build the capacity of select intermediaries which support ETG’s inputs distribution system and/or manage crop aggregation for ETG. This project is being implemented in partnership with the Government of Canada through the Facility for Resilient Food Systems (FRFS) as well as the Global Agriculture and Food Security Program (GAFSP) -a multilateral partnership and financing platform dedicated to improving food and nutrition security in the world’s poorest countries.
