Project Description

According to the Bank’s website, the Project aims to provide the Department of Transportation (DOTr) transaction advisory support with the ultimate objective of awarding a PPP Concession for the Iloilo Airport to either the original USP proponent or to a winning challenger resulting from the competitive bid challenge process prescribed under the PPP Code. The winning bidder or proponent as the case may be will upgrade, expand, operate and maintain the airports throughout the concession.

The project is expected to result in mobilization of private sector investment in the sector and improvement of airport services to local and international passengers.
