According to the Bank’s website, IFC is providing transaction advisory services to entities affiliated with the Government of Cabo Verde in connection with the potential partial divestiture of its ownership stake in CVTelecom. Please note that as project is starting, development results indicators have not yet materialized.
The Project is expected to generate positive fiscal impacts through the direct transfer of privatization proceeds to the GoCV’s budget, resulting from the sale of shares to private sector entities. At the market level, the Project is anticipated to enhance competitiveness in the mobile and broadband connectivity sector by increasing private sector participation.

If you submit a complaint to the CAO, they may assist you in resolving a dispute with the company and/or investigate to assess whether the IFC is following its own policies and procedures for preventing harm to people or the environment.
