The objective of this project is two-fold: to build evidence to support the business case for an integrated approach to gender, race and climate in the private sector in Brazil; and to support companies to reduce gaps in women’s employment and leadership in the Forestry and Agriculture sectors, which are key for an effective climate transition in Brazil. The project will achieve its objective through the following components: (1) Market Research and Case Studies; (2) Peer Learning Platform (PLP); and (3) Firm-level Advisory Services.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF IFC/MIGA
The Compliance Advisor Ombudsman (CAO) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who believe they are likely to be, or have been, adversely affected by an IFC or MIGA- financed project. If you submit a complaint to the CAO, they may assist you in resolving a dispute with the company and/or investigate to assess whether the IFC is following its own policies and procedures for preventing harm to people or the environment.
