According to the Bank’s website, the project will work closely with World Bank Group IT team to develop EDGE V4.0 under World Bank IT server. Activities associated with EDGE V4.0 development include the followings:
(i) Development of the EDGE V4.0 software and online App and training materials
1. Design phase
2. Development, Testing, and implementation Phase
3. V4 Go-live, training and customer support Phase
4. Develop training materials and guidelines for stakeholders of EDGE v4.0 in various languages
(ii) Provide support to the different stakeholders (developers, chambers of construction, financial institutions, public sector, green building professionals) on EDGE v4.0
• Assistance will also be offered to IFC investment clients who will pursue an EDGE certification in version 4.0.
• IFC will train certification providers who request IFC assistance with awareness raising in the areas outside the focus countries including general awareness raising workshops targeting developers, real estate agencies, architects, engineers and financial institutions which also includes EDGE introductory trainings and EDGE Experts trainings.
