According to bank provided information, the Malawi Asset Based Lending Project, is a Three (3) year Advisory Services and Technical Assistance project to support improvements to Malawi's asset based lending environment and particularly the availability of credit for the Small Micro Enterprises (SME) sector including underserved individual/entrepreneurs and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and to strengthen the capacity of Reserve Bank of Malawi and financial sector market players operating in the asset-based lending ecosystem, including the relevant stakeholder community.
