According to the Bank’s website, the Project aims to facilitate private sector investments in Ukraine and Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries and to enhance the resilience of agribusiness value chains by supporting private sector companies engaged in 1) farming (primary production and storage, input, machinery and equipment supply, and related services), 2) value-added processing (ingredients, crushing, milling, processed foods and beverages, meat and dairy products), and 3) export (commodity traders, logistics services, wholesalers, retailers).

IMC S.A., together with its subsidiaries, operates as an integrated agricultural company in Ukraine and internationally. The company operates through two segments; Crop Farming, and Elevators and Warehouses. It cultivates corns, sunflowers, wheat, barley, pea, buckwheat, millet, soybean, and oilseeds. The company also engages in the agricultural and farming production; bakery production; and trading business, as well as operates grain elevator. In addition, it provides storage facilities. The company was formerly known as Industrial Milk Company S.A. and changed its name to IMC S.A. in May 2017. IMC S.A. was founded in 1998 and is based in Luxembourg, Luxembourg. IMC S.A. is a subsidiary of Agrovalley Limited.
