As stated on the project disclosure page, IFC will provide transaction advisory support to the PPP Authority and the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh under the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism to assist the government in preparing a concession agreement for a private operator to operate and maintain Terminal 3 of the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at Dhaka.
Successful implementation of the Project is expected to improved passenger and cargo services and higher quality airport facilities, resulting in increased economic activity and aviation sector revenues.
