According to the Bank’s website, project activities were organized as follows:
Workstream 1: Diagnostic Assessment
(a) information needs assessment of community members in 3 priority thematic areas
(b) mapping of organizations and individuals who currently serve, or could serve, as “infomediaries” – intermediaries of information – between GAC and communities to improve information flows, and
(c) inventory of GAC’s existing datasets on the agreed-upon priority topics .
Workstream 2: Capacity Building
(a) tailored training sessions and coaching on digital skills and good practices in data stewardship and open data sharing as part of company’s information dissemination, including the gender angle of data.
Workstream 3: Data Driven Community Engagement
(a) engagement with CSOS, community leaders and infomediaries, or young community relays through data events such as knowledge sharing workshops, community focus groups to promote use of the disclosed data

The Compliance Advisor Ombudsman (CAO) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who believe they are likely to be, or have been, adversely affected by an IFC or MIGA- financed project. If you submit a complaint to the CAO, they may assist you in resolving a dispute with the company and/or investigate to assess whether the IFC is following its own policies and procedures for preventing harm to people or the environment.
