Project Description

IFC is supporting the Federal Government of Brazil, through CAIXA, its state-owned development bank, to structure the tender process for a SL PPP in Olinda, as part of an umbrella program of up to 15 PPP transactions. The project aims to modernize the municipality’s street lighting infrastructure, resulting in reduced power consumption and greenhouse gases emissions, and provide more energy efficient and better lit streets for residents.
