According to IFC documents, the proposes investment will provide transaction advisory support to TUSCO Limited, a joint venture company of THDC India Limited, Government of India and Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency, Government of Uttar Pradesh to develop two 600 MW Ultra Mega Renewable Energy Power Parks in Jhansi and Lalitpur districts in Uttar Pradesh on Public Private Partnership model.
The successful implementation of the project is expected to result in the generation of approximately 600 MW of clean power, avoidance of greenhouse gas emissions, and mobilization of private sector investment in India’s renewable energy sector.
