As stated by the IFC, the overarching goal of IFC-Nespresso Advisory is to improve coffee production volumes in an environmentally, socially, and economically sustainable manner. This project will complement Nespresso’s Reviving Origins Program that aims at supporting smallholder coffee producers in unique coffee origins. In Uganda, the project activities will take place in Rwenzori Mountain region and will focus on good agricultural practices for sustainable coffee production, landscape restoration, farmer business skills, and mainstreaming gender.
According to Bloomberg, Nestle Nespresso SA produces non alcoholic products. The Company manufactures coffee and related products including different blends, flavors, and coffee machines.
