According to the Bank’s website, the project works with the Ministry of Agriculture to support its Pillar 4 of Kenya’s Agricultural Sector Transformation & Growth Strategy (ASTGS 2019-2029). The project will support the Min of Agri to structure and implement a land leasing program for under-utilized public agricultural land to increase use of underused state agriculture land for productive agriculture.
By supporting the use of underutilized state agriculture land for productive agriculture, the project expect to increase investment in commercialized agriculture in Kenya.
