Project Description
If provided by the financial institution, the Early Warning System Team writes a short summary describing the purported development objective of the project and project components. Review the complete project documentation for a detailed description.

According to the bank document, IFC will assist the Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications of the Republic of Bulgaria (MTITC), in attracting a reputable international commercial airport operator for the expansion and long-term operation and maintenance of Sofia Airport under a concession model (the Project). 

IFC will act as Lead transaction advisor to the MTITC in structuring and be tendering the Project through an open and competitive tender process.
