The objective of Invest West Africa's Cote d'Ivoire Manufacturing project is to increase private sector investment in Cote d'Ivoire's non-traditional sectors, to support greater economic diversification. This will be undertaken through focusing on a limited number of high potential light manufacturing sectors, understanding their binding contains and developing joint public-private initiatives to address and overcome them.
The project begins with identifying manufacturing sector growth and investment opportunities, based on which sector-specific strategies and action plans will be developed for a limited number of high potential sectors. Implementation of the action plans is the main focus of the project, focused on 2-3 priority initiatives (which are determined by the strategy) to be launched sequentially.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF IFC
The Compliance Advisor Ombudsman (CAO) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who believe they are likely to be, or have been, adversely affected by an IFC or MIGA- financed project. If you submit a complaint to the CAO, they may assist you in resolving a dispute with the company and/or investigate to assess whether the IFC is following its own policies and procedures for preventing harm to people or the environment. If you want to submit a complaint electronically, you can email the CAO at CAO@worldbankgroup.org. You can learn more about the CAO and how to file a complaint at http://www.cao-ombudsman.org/
