Project Description

According to the Bank’s website, the proposed program will strengthen the Government of Viet Nam's efforts to build a more competitive, investment-friendly business environment, driving higher enterprise formation and private investment.

By reducing regulatory burdens, improving transparency, and modernizing legal and institutional frameworks, the program will foster private sector development (PSD), stimulate job creation, and expand economic opportunities. It will promote innovation and financial inclusion, facilitate investment in high-impact sectors, and accelerate trade facilitation and digital integration. These reforms will advance Viet Nam's transition to digital government and position the private sector as the primary engine of sustainable, inclusive, and resilient growth.
