According to the bank's website, the "TA seeks to support the PRC government's efforts to foster collaboration with ASEAN countries in the field of earthquake monitoring and early warning systems. It aims to introduce advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence and large-scale earthquake model, to enhance seismic monitoring capabilities in the region. Leveraging a sophisticated AI-based earthquake monitoring and processing system, the initiative will deliver near-real-time data analysis and emergency services to ASEAN earthquake stations using existing network infrastructure. Additionally, it will offer tailored seismic technology products and services to meet the region's needs in disaster monitoring, risk mitigation, and hazard information dissemination".
