According to the Bank’s website, this small-scale knowledge and support technical assistance (TA), 'Catalyzing Innovation and Strengthening Project Readiness and Implementation, will provide a flexible $225,000 grant-funded mechanism to deepen ADB's engagement with Turkmenistan under the CPS 20242028 and support the government's goals for a more diversified, competitive, and innovation-driven economy. The TA will strengthen responsiveness to increasing government requests by financing early-stage programming, knowledge products, and high-level dialogue, including support for pipeline development, private sector research, policy advice, and WTO accession efforts. It will also facilitate workshops, policy dialogues, and capacity-building activities, helping advance priority initiatives such as railway modernization, nursing sector development, NSO engagement, and climate and trade-related reforms. Aligned with Strategy 2030 (OP6), the TA will improve ADB's agility, visibility, and strategic impact in Turkmenistan, laying the groundwork for future sovereign and nonsovereign operations.
The TA financing amount is $225,000, which will be financed on a grant basis by ADB’s Technical Assistance Special Fund.
