Project Description

DESCRIPTION

According to the bank disclosure statement, the Technical Assistance project will support ADB's development of a PCE methodology and its implementation for various project types in Developing Member Countries (DMCs). It will also help build ADB's analytical foundation for PCE and support knowledge dissemination and capacity building across all operational departments and DMCs. The TA's impact is aligned with the long-term outcome of ADB's PSD Shift Operational Approach of promoting greater private sector participation in the development of Asia and the Pacific and developing capabilities for private sector development and private capital mobilization. The intended outcome of the TA is to enhance bank-wide capacity for enabling private sector development by strengthening the intentionality of operations and capacity development.
