Project Description

According to the Bank’s website, the proposed PIULIP aims to enhance citizens' lives with climate-resilient smart infrastructure, efficient urban mobility, and participative governance to preserve Puducherry's unique identity. The project will provide holistic multi-sectoral urban infrastructure interventions involving upgrading water supply, sanitation, and improving urban connectivity and mobility to improve the livability and enhance climate-resilience of the project area. These urban infrastructure initiatives will target critical areas within the four regions in the Puducherry Union Territory, fostering sustainable and inclusive urban development.
