According to the Bank’s website, the proposed small-scale regional knowledge and support TA will establish the necessary institutional, operational, and coordination mechanisms, and prepare key documentation and capacity requirements including relevant diagnostics and studies to implement the G2F Program. This early support ensures that the G2F Program seamlessly transition into implementation phase minimizing delays, strengthening readiness of proposed projects, and enhancing the overall effectiveness and sustainability of the interventions in key sectors including agriculture, health, social protection, and water. The TA supports the operationalization of the Climate Action Road Map for Central and West Asia and the CAREC Climate Change Action Plan through integrated action on glacier monitoring, river basin planning, and regional knowledge sharing.
The TA financing amount is $225,000, which will be financed on a grant basis by ADB’s Technical Assistance Special Fund (TASF-other sources).

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF ADB
The Accountability Mechanism is an independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who believe they are likely to be, or have been, adversely affected by an Asian Development Bank-financed project. If you submit a complaint to the Accountability Mechanism, they may investigate to assess whether the Asian Development Bank is following its own policies and procedures for preventing harm to people or the environment.
