According to the bank's website, the "project aims to commemorate the 40-year partnership between the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the People's Republic of China (PRC) by reflecting on past successes and lessons learned, while exploring future collaboration opportunities. It will involve a series of events and activities, such as knowledge-sharing lectures, photo contests, and high-level forums, designed to showcase the impact of ADB-supported projects in the PRC. The project will also document and disseminate success stories and case studies to promote greater understanding of the partnership's contributions to PRC's economic and social development. The overall goal is to strengthen the ADB-PRC relationship, promote knowledge sharing, and enhance stakeholder commitment to utilizing lessons learned for future development initiatives".
