Project Description

According to the bank's website, the "project will (i) upgrade about 42 kilometers (km) of priority national roads between Lospalos and Iliomar; (ii) rehabilitate three critical bridges in Seical, Borouai, and Malailada, while preparing the detailed engineering designs of two critical bridges (Verucoco and Laga) along the national road corridor from Baucau to Lautem; and (iii) implement small-scale, community-led climate adaptation measures in six flood- and drought-prone suco (village-level administrative units) along the road".
