According to the Bank’s website, the TA will support Mongolia's objective to build a more resilient and diversified economy. The reforms supported under the TA will help build a more resilient and diversified economy. The TA will also support the government to determine the scope and technical specifications of an integrated development policy and planning database, to inform medium-term policymaking.
The reforms supported under the TA will help reduce Mongolia’s dependency on mining and build a more resilient and diversified economy. The TA will help the government determine the scope and technical specifications of an integrated development policy and planning database to inform medium-term policymaking. The TA is consistent with the government’s Vision 2050, which prioritizes, (i) the promotion of macroeconomic stability, (ii) structural reforms and the promotion of priority economic sectors for export-oriented growth, and (iii) economic diversification and specialization.

The TA financing amount is $1,000,000, which will be financed on a grant basis by ADB’s Technical Assistance Special Fund (TASF–other sources). The government will provide counterpart support in the form of counterpart staff, office accommodation, office supplies, secretarial assistance, and other in-kind contributions.
