Project Description

If provided by the financial institution, the Early Warning System Team writes a short summary describing the purported development objective of the project and project components. Review the complete project documentation for a detailed description.

According to the Bank’s website, the TA activities will support analytical studies, data analysis, and knowledge-sharing activities aligned with SARD's operational pipeline of 2025-2027 and the five strategic focus areas for accelerated work identified by the Strategy 2030 Midterm Review (MTR), namely, (a) climate action, (b) private sector development, (c) regional cooperation and public goods, (d) digital transformation, and (e) resilience and empowerment.

This TA responds to the need for high-quality insights and up-to-date analytics on major economic trends and economic policy issues that impact ADB's operations and strategy in South Asia, especially those related to macroeconomic stability; the role of trade and private sector development in fostering structural transformation, the future of work and social protection, and food security.
