As stated by the ADB, the proposed program will support private investment in the Pacific through the following: (i) a lending and guarantee envelope of up to $80 million from Ordinary Capital Resources (OCR) of the Asian Development Bank (ADB); (ii) grants and guarantees of up to $50 million from the Asian Development Fund (ADF) Private Sector Window (ADF-PSW) to be utilized for grants and guarantees; and (iii) technical assistance (TA) of up to $15 million from the Technical Assistance Special Fund (TASF).
The ADB Wayfinder (Pacific) Program will support nonsovereign operations and sustainable private sector development in the Pacific. It will help to support fragile and conflict-affected situations (FCAS) and small island developing states (SIDS) approach of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to improve the effectiveness of ADB's nonsovereign assistance and the development outcomes of developing member countries in Pacific FCAS and SIDS countries.
The Wayfinder program will complement existing initiatives focusing on increasing ADB's direct support for private financing in the Pacific.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF ADB
The Accountability Mechanism is an independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who believe they are likely to be, or have been, adversely affected by an Asian Development Bank-financed project. If you submit a complaint to the Accountability Mechanism, they may investigate to assess whether the Asian Development Bank is following its own policies and procedures for preventing harm to people or the environment. You can learn more about the Accountability Mechanism and how to file a complaint at: http://www.adb.org/site/accountability-mechanism/main.
