According to the bank's website, "the proposed investment program will support priority short- to long-term investments to (i) improve, expand, and sustain resilient urban areas, infrastructure, and services, and (ii) promote water security in 14 cities and 12 districts across the Mekong, Tonle Sap, and coastal regions. The program is expected to benefit over 2 million people, contributing to Cambodia's target of achieving universal access to safely managed water supply and sanitation, and livable and resilient cities".

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF ADB
The Accountability Mechanism is an independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who believe they are likely to be, or have been, adversely affected by an Asian Development Bank-financed project. If you submit a complaint to the Accountability Mechanism, they may investigate to assess whether the Asian Development Bank is following its own policies and procedures for preventing harm to people or the environment.
